Associate Partner Development Manager

Our Partner Management organization is looking for a Partner Development Associate to manage the inbound support requests we receive from our rapidly growing partner ecosystem. This person will be responsible for supporting relationships with partners, quickly solving common and uncommon problems for partners, working on partner-level communications associated with larger partnerships initiatives, and identifying ways we can improve the partner support experience. This person will spend the majority of their day communicating with partner contacts through email tickets or chat tools. This person is also comfortable being external-facing and confident working with multiple cross-functional teams at Square.
Manage a large number of partners support issues; able to prioritize quickly and effectively.
Address partner concerns and issues in writing.
Work with cross-functional Square teams to ensure partners and joint customers have the best possible experience across all aspects of Square.
Know when issues need to be collaborated on and/or escalated to others.
Be metrics-driven, goal-oriented, and eager to grow your career on a fast-paced team.
2+ years experience in direct customer- or partner-facing roles, with aspirations to grow into a more strategic role
Strong time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working cross-functionally in a technical organization
Genuine curiosity about people, technology, and business
Coachable mindset, dedicated to continuous personal improvement
Comfort with ambiguity, and resilient when facing rapid change
Experience with Google work apps, Salesforce Service Cloud are a plus
