Job Description
We are looking to bring in an experienced individual to assist the Compliance Officer in managing compliance programs and ensuring the company is fulfilling all regulatory obligations in a constantly evolving and dynamic environment.
You will be responsible for:
Updating, enhancing and maintaining the AFSL and AML/CTF program documents and related policies
Assisting with risk assessments in accordance with the AML/CTF legislation and internal policies
Keeping abreast of regulatory developments, assessing business impacts and implementing required framework to comply with new/revised regulatory requirements
Researching and providing recommendations for new requirements related to product and program changes and Compliance policies
Explaining complex and nuanced compliance requirements into understandable concepts for all relevant stakeholders
Providing advisory as a subject matter expert and supporting business units on AFSL and AML/CTF matters
Developing compliance guidelines to keep other teams aware of compliance requirements
Supporting internal and external audits, reviews, and examinations
Ensuring the business is fully compliant and aware of their reporting requirements and regulatory developments affecting their range of products
Facilitating comprehensive solutions by maintaining an understanding of business systems and processes, both technical and operational
Qualifications
You have:
3-5 years in a senior compliance role with a regulated financial services firm, preferably in the payments space
Strong operational knowledge in executing and running a sound compliance program
Deep understanding of AML/CTF, AFSL and relevant regulatory requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative environment, with the ability to shift gears quickly as situations change and deliver outstanding results
Previous people management experience is a plus

Self-starter who can perform flawlessly with minimal direction
Past program and/or project management experience preferred
