Analytics Manager, Payment Products

  • San Francisco, CA
  • Full-time

Company Description

Square builds common business tools in unconventional ways so more people can start, run, and grow their businesses. When Square started, it was difficult and expensive (or just plain impossible) for some businesses to take credit cards. Square made credit card payments possible for all by turning a mobile phone into a credit card reader. Since then Square has been building an entire business toolkit of both hardware and software products including Square Capital, Square Terminal, Square Payroll, and more. We’re working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed on their own terms—and we’re looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.

You will directly manage a team of 4-6 product analysts, help set direction for our Payment Products group, and work across teams to improve our analytics and data science practices throughout the company.

As Analytics Manager, you will guide your team of product analysts who collaborate with engineering, marketing, design, and product to answer challenging questions that improve our customer experience and Square’s growth. You will manage the career growth of your team, and promote a collaborative and inclusive culture.

  • Join a community of analytics leads, and help further the discipline at Square by establishing best practices and defining career paths

  • Report into the Director of Engineering for Square's Payment Products
