Job Description

As a Partner Growth Manager, you will represent Square’s brand and lead relationships with strategic partners. You will manage our partnerships, from development to launch and ongoing partner management. You will grow these partnerships and meet metrics by multiple partner programs, go-to-market programs, and new integrations. This is an important role on the Partnerships team. The qualified candidate will have a good mix of skills that includes an ability to understand a variety of partnerships and their value propositions, knowledge on how to build and deepen partner relationships, work with both internal and external teams, and a desire to promote growth of our business. 


  • Manage all aspects of partner growth: prioritization and execution of strategic programs; financial assessment and forecasting; structuring and negotiation of new projects; and ongoing partner management
  • Manage success metrics and partner growth
  • Maintain direct relationships with partners, proactively resolving issues and creating value
  • Work with a broad range of internal stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Legal, serving as an advocate for your partners while balancing Square’s goals
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with internal and external teams


  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience; 2+ years of partnerships and/or related experience, preferably with a successful track record of managing business relationships and cross-functional projects
  • Experience building and managing relationships with senior business leaders, both internally and externally
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, managing initiatives at scale, and delivering results
  • BA/BS required
