Job Description

The Square Treasury team is looking for an Analyst to help grow our global treasury operations team. You will present the opportunity to build Square's Treasury function for the UK and Europe, focusing on cash management, compliance and payments. You will be a contributor to optimizing Square's global liquidity and bank account structure.

 
You will:

  • Partner with product teams to launch new product offerings in the UK and Europe Manage liquidity across the product suite in the UK and Europe including Cash App and Point of Sale
  • Comply with all cash safeguarding and local bond requirements related to licenses in the UK and Europe
  • Develop efficient bank account structures and manage opening/closing of accounts and updating signatories
  • Manage banking relationships in the UK and Europe Partner with external accountants on operations and close
  • Maintain users on multiple global banking portals
  • Support daily trading activities for Bitcoin activities and partner with the Treasury team globally to create a true 24/7 liquidity function.
  • Help develop new partnerships in the UK and Europe to ensure efficient liquidity for Bitcoin operations and support eventual launch of BTC capabilities in the UK and Europe

Qualifications

You have:

  • 2+ years experience in Corporate Treasury or related field
  • Experience with core cash management, familiarity with a Treasury Management Systems
  • Experience with financial and operational controls
  • You enjoy getting your "hands dirty" and have a Passion for Square.
  • Interest in technology / knowledge of the industry
  • Excel (can perform complex functions) are important
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
