Job Description

As Square expands to meet the needs of a broader seller base, it is critical to invest in vertical integration to achieve unmatched experiences and technical capabilities. The Restaurants team within Square empowers Food & Drink businesses of all kinds to start, run, and grow their businesses through advanced workflows, specialized products, business insights, and inclusion in the greater Square ecosystem. This is core to Square’s growth plans. As the Product Management Lead for Square for Restaurants, you will oversee every aspect of product development in partnership with Design and Engineering. You will need strategic thinking and methodical execution as you drive growth metrics and oversee the details of the solution from deep in the stack through the end-user experience.

You will:

  • Lead a team of product managers to help them do their best work. 
  • Guide product strategy to maximize impact for our customers and Square’s business.
  • Work with Design, Engineering, and Product Marketing to set the vision for the Square for Restaurants ecosystem. 
  • Work with Customer Success, Sales, and Partnerships to refine how we collaborate.
  • Partner with go-to-market functions to align roadmaps and processes.
  • Help shape our product development process as we continue to grow.
  • Foster an environment that enables the team to execute quickly while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • 3+ years of experience building and managing product teams
  • Customer obsession
  • A collaborative approach with experience delivering results with cross-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with flexible skills
  • Experience shipping elegant B2B/B2B2C products and tools
  • Evidence of delivering tools that make the complex simple
  • Industry passion and/or experience. Must love food!
  • Data-driven learning style
  • Hustle and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A passion for Square’s mission and new technology
