Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Manager to help Square create revenue against individual, team and Sales organizations quotas. Your entrepreneurship will be a valuable contribution to developing our strategy, growing the team, and establishing a culture of crisp execution.

You will:

  • Refine the outbound sales strategy, process and tactics to improve performance
  • Support direct reports by participating in client and prospect meetings
  • Develop sales team which includes hiring and training new account executives on sales process
  • Use sales metrics to manage the team and individual AEs, tracking the results and succinctly reporting to senior management
  • Conduct weekly forecast and pipeline meetings with AEs
  • Coach direct reports regarding strategies to increase revenue and customer success
  • Use the customer voice to improve interactions and product
  • Envision new ideas and approaches and take them to fruition

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales management experience with consistent team performance above 100% to goal
  • Managed teams that have primarily focused on generating outbound revenue
  • Experience in successful outbound tools and sales processes
  • The ability to rapidly hire and train new account executives
  • Facilitate working with departments in an environment of expansion
  • Expertise in creating thoughtfulness around sales metrics and managing yourself and others to aim these metrics
  • Create an environment where people are encouraged to share information, constructively debate, and communicate freely
  • Refine how decisions are make and consider the downstream and upstream effects of potential decisions
