The Finance & Strategy team is looking for a Sales Pricing Operations Analyst. You will work with the Sales team and play an essential part in pricing strategy, deal pricing and negotiations, and sales operations.

You will: 

  • Help set competitive pricing across Squares portfolio of products to best position the sales team to close deals
  • Build and maintain a pricing framework across all Square products
  • Become an expert in credit card processing and point-of-sale competitor fees
  • Perform pricing audits and analyses to inform changes to go-forward pricing implementation and strategy
  • Analyze deal terms with strategic partners, advise on in-process negotiations, and propose creative solutions to reach a goal or maximize an outcome
  • Support strategic paths, which will include analytics programs such as competitive pricing analysis, financial modeling, and sales performance measurement

Qualifications

You have:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a relevant field
  • 1 year experience in a sales analyst, pricing, or finance position
  • Proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) and SQL
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • An inquisitive work style
  • A passion for Squares mission
  • Experience in the payments industry is a plus
