Job Description
In Learning and Development, we’re here to support the Customer Success, Risk Operations and Risk Management teams as they grow and expand their reach across the business. The Learning & Development team ensures that all of our Cash App team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need in order to be successful in their roles on a continual basis, as well as provide opportunities for further career growth and development. Our focus areas include: new hire on-boarding, continuing education, professional development, coaching and performance consulting.
In this role, you will be focused on designing, delivering, and measuring the impact of the leadership and professional development learning programs which drive performance improvement across the Customer Operations team. There are a broad range of opportunities in developing program content including coaching for performance improvement, building business acumen, leadership skill building (pre-lead, new lead, tenured lead), developing soft skills for customer interactions and ongoing professional development. We do not have a formalized curricula in place today so this person will have the opportunity to create and implement a variety of programs that will have the greatest impact on performance.
What you’ll do:
Design, develop, implement and lead organization-wide leadership and professional development programs
Guide the organization in prioritizing and developing an end-to-end leadership/professional development strategy and curricula with available resources, in coordination with stakeholders, and aligning with organizational strategic priorities
Utilize data to monitor and analyze the effectiveness of programs; support a culture of continuous development within the Learning & Development Team
Provide input and outcome data on learning impact and recruitment recommendations regularly in reports to management and partners
Lead the development of learning programs for Cash App people managers
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that learning and development initiatives are aligned with both individual and team needs
Develop and support training solutions and processes that enable individuals to grow and improve in their career journey
This position is located in St. Louis, MO or Portland, OR.
Qualifications
Expertise in using qualitative and quantitative data to identify and build out comprehensive Leadership/Pro Development strategies
4+ years of experience building, maintaining and managing large-scale Leadership/Pro Development learning programs
2+ years Learning and Development experience in an intensely scaling technical business setting
2+ years of Program Management Experience - Leadership Programs preferred
A deep understanding of and experience in instructional design, performance analysis, performance coaching and adult learning theory
Experience with change management fundamentals and learning/educational technology
An end-to-end problem solving skill-set, from structuring a complex problem to developing actionable recommendations and working with other teams to get solutions implemented
An analytical, data-focused mindset with a track record of success in a metrics-driven environment
Strong public speaking, facilitation and coaching skills with a desire to see others succeed
Experience with e-learning development tools such as Storyline, Rise and Captivate and familiarity with an LMS
People management experience preferred
