Job Description

People are the driving force behind Square's growth and success. The Global Business Recruiting team is looking for a Recruiting Manager to join our team and play an instrumental role in managing a team of recruiters as well as handling full cycle recruiting responsibilities. You will also partner with peers and key hiring leaders to create scalable recruiting strategies that will enable us to produce diverse pipelines across multiple geographies. In addition, you will be responsible for innovation and creating efficiencies across the entire recruiting process and accelerate hiring. This position will report to the Head of Business Recruiting.

You will:

  • Partner with the Head of Business Recruiting to drive overall success of team including managing prioritization, delegation, and overall accountability for each recruiter

  • Mentor a team of recruiters that will position each team member to successfully meet their hiring goals and grow their careers within Square

  • Partner closely with Leadership and Hiring Managers to create comprehensive recruiting strategies

  • Use data to evaluate and optimize current hiring processes

  • Think creatively and bring an innovation framework to talent acquisition with a specific focus on hiring diverse talent

  • Partner with Finance and HR to develop long-term growth plans

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for strategic/leadership roles

 

Qualifications

You have:

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 2 years of management experience

  • People development experience with a focus on coaching and mentoring recruiting professionals

  • Experience using data and reporting tools to influence decisions

  • A growth mindset and ability to think of creative solutions

  • Systems experience (ATS, HRIS, etc.)
