The Cash App Banking Team is focused on making banking services relatable, instant, and accessible for everybody. This means allowing customers to receive paychecks faster via direct deposit, make everyday purchases using the Cash Card, enjoy instant discounts via the Boost rewards program, and much more. As a Banking product manager, you will help drive our strategy to build Cash App into a leading provider of banking services and empower customers with better ways to grow and utilize their money. This role is critical because it entails building incredible features to redefine the banking experience, as well as establishing the deep level of trust required to serve as our customers' financial institution of choice.
To accomplish your goals, you'll work directly with engineering, design, machine learning disciplines as well as cross-functionally with colleagues in Business, Marketing, Brand, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Support. You'll partner closely with our executive leadership team and business leaders to set and exceed business unit goals. Drive the strategy, tactics, and delivery timelines for your product area
Develop innovative, industry-leading features and products that unique serve Cash App’s customers - differentiating via design and creativity
Identify opportunities and scope/research them to build a perspective on what we should be building
Inspire your cross-functional peers in an effort to build strong partnerships in delivering excellent products and services
Influence key stakeholders throughout Cash App and Square overall to align resources and prioritization
8+ years of product management or equivalent experience
Experience driving complex, cross-functional product initiatives in a successful way
A humble and scrappy get-it-done mindset; you’re resourceful and in your element going from 0 to 1
Strong customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution based on customer needs
Managed a high performing team that consistently delivers
A hunger to tackle complicated and impactful product & business problems
Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities
Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses, and solve problems without well-defined direction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
