As an Interactive Designer at Square, you will drive design execution for our Ecommerce team - including services like web design, design consultations, sales collateral creation, and informing product direction. You will consult high profile customers to meet their needs using our Square Online platform and amplify design feedback into our product to drive customer design flexibility. We're looking for someone who is motivated by mobile and web oriented design providing outstanding visual output. You will be an important contributor to the Square ecosystem that will impact the growth and acquisition of customers for getting online, fostering a culture of design within the organization, and advocating for forward-looking design solutions.

Qualifications

You will: 

  • Consult and support clients through the web design process to guide direction and provide visual design for their ecommerce experiences.
  • Partner with sales team to create and own sales and marketing collateral
  • Lead and improve web design efficiencies and standards for internal and external designers
  • Work with the team to help develop and expand our design systems
  • Provide solutions that support the desired business outcomes
  • Articulate your design decisions and embracing feedback
  • Work with a range of teams and disciplines to execute design initiatives
  • Aggregate and prioritize customer feedback to plan, scope and create work that contributes to business vision

You have:

  • 5+ years experience in visual design
  • Portfolio that shows expertise in web and visual design
  • Knowledge of motion design and Adobe After Effects, illustration, programming languages are a plus
