Job Description

Square is looking for a passionate Paid Social performance marketer to help guide and scale new user acquisition on Square's core payments business and SaaS products. We are looking for a candidate who is excited to grow one of our largest direct response channels. You have experience managing campaigns and increasing efficiency through optimizations and testing. You will represent the Demand Generation team as an expert, responsible for informing strategy and executing $XXM campaigns across Facebook/Instagram and other social channels.

You Will:

  • Influence direct response strategy of a fast-growing channel for Square's core set of business products with a data-driven approach
  • Manage end-to-end execution and operation of campaigns within Facebook Ads Manager Create a bold and rigorous testing roadmap throughout the year to promote constant learning in all facets of campaigns, including bidding, targeting, and creative Oversee budgets and pacing alongside platform performance to take advantage of recent trends Implement and optimize performance tactics across multiple acquisition campaigns, increasing value and efficiency of each additional dollar
  • Monitor dashboards and essential reporting tools to understand channel effectiveness and react to changes in CPA, ROI, LTV and other channel metrics
  • Maintain relationships with third-party partners (tech partners, creative agencies) to ensure we're following best practices and capitalizing on new opportunities, including relevant betas
  • Work with our teams (creative, product marketing, brand, international) with a Paid Social lens to educate and put our best foot forward to meet acquisition goals and support programs Communicate campaign updates, progress reports, timelines, and test results on a recurring basis to ensure understanding across all partners 

Qualifications

You Have:

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 3+ years of related performance marketing experience managing and optimizing Facebook Ads campaigns with a $XXM budget
  • Experience working with our teams and optimizing towards multiple KPIs A firm grasp of analytics, testing, and metrics driven (performance) marketing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A desire to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • A passion for marketing, staying up-to-date on industry and platform news
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • An energetic and willing attitude

    • Experience writing ad copy SQL knowledge
