Company Description

Square builds common business tools in unconventional ways so more people can start, run, and grow their businesses. When Square started, it was difficult and expensive (or just plain impossible) for some businesses to take credit cards. Square made credit card payments possible for all by turning a mobile phone into a credit card reader. Since then Square has been building an entire business toolkit of both hardware and software products including Square Capital, Square Terminal, Square Payroll, and more. We’re working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed on their own terms—and we’re looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.

You will report directly with the Global Complaint Lead to develop program strategy for the Seller, CashApp and Capital complaint programs. You will:

  • Support initiatives across Square by partnering with business teams to implement program strategy and assist with program management
  • Work independently to assist and manage special projects defined by the Global Complaints Program Manager and the Corporate Compliance organization
  • Evaluate compliance reporting by collecting, reviewing, and storing accurate and verifiable information. Will flag complaint or consumer trends or insights
  • Support partner relationships and programs by working with partners, Counsel, Compliance and developing documentation for audit, exam or regulatory agencies
  • Absorb complex compliance issues or requirements and work with partners to implement solutions
  • Review and help prepare Governance documents, including policies and procedures, about Global Complaint Program

You have:

  • 2+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience in Compliance or Audit or in the financial services industry
