Job Description

We're looking for a world class leader to be the face of our broker-dealer subsidiary, Cash App Investing LLC. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has deep experience with program management and strategic initiatives within the broker-dealer /fintech industry. 

You will:

  • Serve as the key relationship lead with our carrying broker-dealer, digesting daily updates from the team and sharing those updates with the rest of the Cash App Investing organization across operations, legal, compliance, and product

  • Own strategic projects and performing analyses to drive major decisions for the broker-dealer from start to implementation

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve systems that drive operational efficiencies and improve on execution

  • Program manage across carrying, clearing, and other external partners to drive operational improvement projects that will increase business efficiency and reduce risk 

  • Develop a tracking process for greater visibility into broker-dealer relationships and status of major initiatives for the rest of the organization and cross functional teams

  • Manage monthly and quarterly due-diligence initiatives and testing of operational plans and systems (e.g. lead Business Continuity Plan testing across partnerships)

  • Act as the subject matter expert on ongoing projects for the Firm and report on the status of these projects on a weekly basis or as requested by cross-functional peers.

  • Consistently meet deadlines and goals for key business decisions and major projects with minimal supervision

  • Support our front-office, middle-office, and back-office team with recurring updates on strategic initiatives and the operational impact as a result of those key projects.

Qualifications

You have:

 

  • 5-7+ years of experience in business strategy, consulting and financial services; experience at a carrying or clearing broker-dealer is a plus

  • Experience with Looker / Tableau or other data analytics tools. Bonus: Experience leveraging SQL or Python in analyzing trading behaviors / activities

  • FINRA Licenses: Series 7 or 99 required. Bonus: Series 24 and/or series 57.

  • Consulting, Business Strategy, Program Management experience

  • SEC/FINRA regulatory knowledge and reporting requirements.  

  • Well experienced in working closely with brokerage and support of firm operations

  • Someone who learns quickly and thinks strategically 

  • Someone who thrives in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
