Job Description

As growth continues to accelerate and Cash App continues to enter new financial services, we’re looking for incredible people to help lead product development. Our product leaders are deeply customer-focused, collaborate intensely with other key disciplines, and make decisions with an eye towards Cash App’s business as a whole. The Cash App Growth team team is focused on accelerating Cash App's trajectory as the world's fastest growing financial brand. This role is critical because it operates across all product surfaces to drive overall Cash App revenue growth. This function impacts Cash App by evaluating and driving opportunities to build sustainable growth through novel acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts.

To accomplish your goals, you’ll work directly with the Growth engineering, design, machine learning disciplines as well as cross-functionally with colleagues in Business, Marketing, Brand, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Support, and Product. You’ll partner closely with our executive leadership team and business leaders to set and exceed business unit goals. You will:

  • Drive the strategy, tactics and delivery timelines for building engagement with Cash App products and building differentiated, proprietary acquisition tactics

  • Partner with engineering to build platforms and applications for customer data, personalization and experimentation

  • Develop innovative and industry leading features + products that uniquely serve Cash App’s customers and differentiate via design and clever applications of data

  • Inspire your cross-functional peers in order to build a strong partnership in delivering excellent products and services

  • Influence key stakeholders throughout Cash App in order to align resources and prioritization


You have:

  • 6+ years of product management or equivalent experience

  • Experience driving cross-functional growth initiatives that require deep analytical abilities and strong data analysis capabilities. 

  • Strong customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution based on customer needs

  • Managed a high performing team that consistently delivers

  • A hunger to tackle complicated and impactful product & business problems

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities

  • A humble and scrappy get-it-done mindset

  • Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses, and solve problems without well-defined direction

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
