Job Description

We're looking for a world class leader to be the face of our broker-dealer subsidiary, Cash App Investing LLC. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has deep experience with trade processing and execution for a carrying broker dealer.
You will:
Review daily best execution reports and work with our clearing firm for price improvements.
Assess risk and process highly complex trade error corrections involving multiple retail client accounts and securities.
Investigate daily position breaks and remediate those breaks in coordination with the clearing firm.
Perform monitoring / review of firm trading and corporate actions activity.
Support the Front and Back Office by conducting trade related research as needed.
Manage and oversee customer escalations between Cash App, Cash App Investing, and external vendors.
Interact and coordinate with Front and Back Office leads on Brokerage Operations initiatives.
Organize and drive efforts for any Cash App Investing related outages and further remediations.
Provide subject matter expertise on strategic initiatives related to trading functions.
Document standard operating procedures and job aids.
Identify areas for process improvement and work toward implementation.
High-level understanding of key requirements under SEC Regulation NMS.
Understanding of clearing broker-dealer execution and routing practices for equity and ETF securities.
Familiarity with key concepts related to best execution requirements pursuant to FINRA Rule 5310 (prior experience performing quarterly statistical oversight is a plus).
Attend and subscribe to FINRA CAT Reporting updates; have a deep understanding of CAT reporting requirements and perform due diligence of clearing firm CAT reporting on behalf of our introducing broker-dealer.
Qualifications
You have:
5-7+ years of experience in financial services including experience at a carrying broker-dealer
High-level understanding of GAAP principles, with a specific understanding of how they relate to trading desk processes
Best execution review experience
Experience building out trading reconciliation procedures
Experience with Looker / Tableau or other data analytics tools. Bonus: Experience leveraging SQL or Python in analyzing trading behaviors / activities
FINRA Licenses: Series 7, 63. Bonus: Series 24 and/or series 57.
Management of key operational functions within a broker-dealer environment including Margin Account Support, Trade Processing, Financial Operations and Supervision/Oversight
SEC/FINRA regulatory knowledge and reporting requirements.
Well experienced in working closely with a broker dealer’s Financial Operations (FinOp) lead and Compliance Officer (CCO) in support of firm operations
