The Business Operations team helps Square sellers manage their Order operations. We organize seller’s order workflows (payment collection, fulfillment, cancellation etc) by providing them tools in Order Manager. Sellers go to the Order Manager for an omni-channel experience of managing orders no matter where it’s coming from: Ecommerce stores, Kiosks, Food delivery partners.
As an iOS engineer on the Orders - Business Operations team, you’ll help design, build, and maintain a world class Order Managing experience for Square Sellers by working closely with multiple teams across the company and with external partners.
Build and maintain Order Manager and sales data visualization.
Design, implement seller tools based on sellers’ needs.
Navigate through various APIs, find creative solutions, make thoughtful trade offs if necessary to provide best seller experience
Hold your teammates and yourself to a high standard of engineering working on products that have a huge impact on sellers day to day operations.
Collaborate with iOS, Android, and Server engineers to ship features.
Work closely with product managers and designers to iterate on and define product scope and design.
Respond to customer feedback to continuously improve our products.
Embrace quick build, measure and learning iterations to launch products and work alongside world class product managers and designers.
B.S. degree or equivalent.
Be proficient in Swift or Objective-C for development (we use both).
Enjoy working on mobile apps at all levels – from networking up to user interfaces and whatever is in between.
