Job Description

We are looking for a Finance & Strategy Manager, reporting to a Cash App Finance & Strategy Lead, who will work as a member of our Finance & Strategy team supporting Cash App's investment and acquisition efforts. Finance & Strategy improves strategic, financial, and operational decision-making across Square.

You Will:

Partner with Cash App Corporate Development and ecosystem teams to support financial diligence of potential acquisitions and investments
Conduct rigorous analysis including valuation and business case modeling to provide detailed guidance and insight into potential acquisitions, investments and other strategic opportunities
Evaluate targets' growth and monetization opportunities, comps, synergies, and other relevant financial information
Engage with senior management of target companies throughout deal process
Advise Cash App leadership on financial risks and opportunities, and inform F&S team's deal recommendation
Work on multiple high visibility projects simultaneously

Qualifications

You Have:

5+ years of relevant work experience, including venture capital, private equity, strategy consulting, investment banking or corporate development experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant field
Excellent proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (can perform complex functions - there will be a case study)
Experience with consumer finance / Fintech, payments preferred
