Job Description
Square Account Management (AM) is hiring a lead to manage reports across Europe. As a senior leader, you will manage a team of Account Managers and help set the vision for our growth within the EU. You will be responsible for hiring and coaching, collaborating with cross functional product and marketing teams to drive our growth and retention, and ensure high customer satisfaction. This role reports directly to the Head of International Account Management in New York.
The ideal candidate has experience working with international teams and sales experience. You have worked with operational teams to develop processes, tools, and systems using data driven insights. Given the international responsibilities, you are experienced and comfortable working cross-functionally across time zones and cultures different from your own.
You will:
Lead revenue generating Account Managers (>10) in the UK & Ireland
Help lead Account Management expansion efforts
Develop creative ways to motivate your team to exceed targets (revenue outputs, inputs, customer satisfaction, and operational goals)
Partner with sales teams to be the customer voice, driving SaaS and product adoption, and collecting insights on product improvement
Represent the EU market globally, and act as Account Management contact for Square leadership and partners
Be an influential leader for market strategy
Qualifications
You have:
2+ years of experience leading an international team
Sales experience (specifically upselling and cross-selling existing customers) in a metrics-driven, high-growth sales organisation
Ability to identify trends and tell stories with data
Track record of cross functional success
A passion for small business and a desire to help Square Sellers
Experience in high transaction volume SaaS application or financial services sales
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
