Job Description
TIDAL is seeking a Motion Designer to join the Design Team in Oslo. We’re looking for someone who’s naturally creative and has good experience working in motion graphics and design. Working in a fast paced environment comes easily to you.
You have a strong eye for type and graphic design and a love for brand design that you translate in motion and 3D. You will help define visual identities and translate them into motion projects and create graphic packages for TIDAL Original Shows, marketing and social campaigns, product & pitch videos and artist promotions. You have a strong creative vision, pushing the boundaries of visual communication but also the ability to deliver. You’re a self-starter and ready to work on your own initiative. Finally, you’re a good team player, with a passion for music and artists.
Responsibilities include:
Develop identities and their accompanying motion packages
Create motion graphics, 3D illustrations and type experimentations for a large range of projects
Creatively direct your own motion projects
Edit both live action and animation projects
Edit audio and sound design on projects
Be responsible for production workflow
Pitch new ideas and concepts to the wider TIDAL team
Creative Coding (Web) is a plus
Explore new trends in technology and build concepts for the future
Qualifications
5 years of relevant education and work experience in Motion design
Experience in video production, specifically for social media platforms and understand how to make an impact on these channels
Strong skills in Graphic and Digital Design
Premiere, After Effects, Cinema 4D are your playground
Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite
Strong understanding of production workflow
Storyboarding experience
Must be organized and able to successfully reach multiple deadlines at once
Ability to manage multiple projects, remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping keen attention to detail
Ability to work in English on a daily basis
Bonus!
Audio post production experience is a plus (recording, mixing, scoring, etc)
