Job Description

Talent Acquisition is a strategic function that enables growth, shapes our culture, and identifies the talent we need to be successful. As a Business Operations Recruiter, you will report to the Head of Operations Recruiting and partner with leaders at Square to accomplish recruiting strategies that support our growing Customer Success and Sales teams. We pride ourselves on creating processes that align with individual teams needs, so creativity and flexibility are requirements for success. With that also comes autonomy and the freedom to experiment, which when measured effectively, drives decisions that allow growth and improvement within our recruiting process. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing an exceptional candidate experience with a process improvement mindset and desire to increase results through partnership. This opportunity is open to remote work.

You will: 

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience

  • Build relationships and work with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and team goals

  • Source active and passive candidates from a variety of sources and communities: online and internal databases, employee referrals, events, networking and research

  • Be a consultative advisor to the business, leading strategic discussions to build teams holistically

  • Partner with the broader recruiting team to build efficient and scalable recruiting processes

  • Execute against unique sourcing strategies to build diverse pools of candidate


You have:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (preferably a combination of in-house and agency)

  • Great sourcing, selling, and closing skills

  • Proven experience that demonstrates attention-to-detail

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems

  • Experience with being able to navigate ambiguity and solve challenging problems

  • The ability to work autonomously and achieve results within a distributed workforce
