Security Technical Program Manager
- San Francisco, CA
The Security organization is responsible for protecting Square while allowing the company to take principled risks. We are focused on scaling our impact, and a large part of this is building the Program Management Organization (PMO) to support functions and programs for Security. This includes building the processes and frameworks needed for our teams and tools to scale, ensuring teams involved in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) have the support they need to run smoothly, and managing complex initiatives as needed.
As Square looks to grow both organically and inorganically in 2021, having a structured and organized approach to scaling will be essential to our long-term success. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our Security PMO and help us tackle the challenges ahead.
Manage large scale security programs across Square.
Manage multiple complex projects, often with competing timelines and resource needs.
Manage diverse relationships with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Analytics teams at Square and at acquired companies, and provide recommendations that help teams understand and achieve their program executables.
Build upon existing internal partnerships: define, iterate and enable new projects that minimize security risk across Square.
Participate in quarterly and annual planning for the Security PMO.
8 or more years of program/project management experience.
Excellent leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to inspire team members and product partners.
Experience in setting up project schedules and breaking down engineering work across multiple teams and delivery dates.
Hands-on experience with Mergers & Acquisitions, preferably as a TPM managing integrations.
Experience working in/with a Security team.
Experience managing integration activities for a technology company.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc).
