Job Description
The Square Treasury team is looking to hire an Analyst to help grow our global treasury operations team. This role presents the opportunity to work across a variety of core Square business functions, focusing primarily on liquidity management. You will be a key contributor to optimizing Square’s global liquidity and bank account structure.
Manage global liquidity strategy through analysis of cash position worksheets, optimization of bank account structure, bank fee management, and maintaining banking relationships
Support global expansion through the creation of bank accounts for new entities
Help maintain Square’s global cash forecast
Partner with accounting on operations and close
Maintain users on multiple global banking portals
Manage authorized signers across all bank accounts
Lead the Treasury Compliance function through support of all bank, debt, and SOX related compliance items
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in corporate treasury, public accounting or related field
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Experience with core cash management, familiarity with a Treasury Management System a plus
Strong understanding of financial and operational controls
Team player who is able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously
Passion for Square. Strong interest in technology / knowledge of the industry
