Job Description
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst (M&A), you will be a part of the Go-to-Market Technology team with a focus on supporting Square's newly acquired business units. You will partner with the business partners to understand their core processes and technology needs to be supported by the GTM team, and advise on best practices for integration into Square’s existing teams and processes. You will partner with our GTM Technology Architecture and Delivery teams to provide holistic, scalable solutions and oversee the successful implementation of these projects.
You will:
Analyze and inventory the GTM Technologies (e.g. Salesforce) used by company being acquired/merged and supported processes
Document process and systems requirements (both automated and manual) to integrate or support processes for newly acquired/merged companies
Provide best practice recommendations and thought leadership on how to best integration GTM processes and systems
Collaborate with M&A leads from related teams (e.g. Finance Systems) to identify and mitigate dependencies and develop an overall M&A roadmap
Collaborate with GTM Technology Architecture and Delivery teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions supporting M&A requirements
Represent the voice of the business to Architecture and Delivery to ensure user friendly, scalable solutions are developed to meet business outcomes
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing for implemented project solutions and coordination issue identification and resolution efforts with the delivery team
Work with GTM Technology Leads to define a long term support model for newly acquired businesses
Support standardization of overall M&A intake processes for GTM Technology team
Qualifications
You have:
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with increasing levels of responsibility
5+ years of enterprise experience using Salesforce to develop business solutions
Experience leading the integration of processes and technologies for 3+ acquisitions/mergers
Experience with agile-scrum methodologies for sprint execution and timeline management
Understanding of CRM principles including marketing and sales operations
Previous roles in a consulting or high growth, tech environment
Impeccable customer success mindset
