Job Description

The TIDAL retention team is looking for an experienced Retention Manager. You will be responsible for lifecycle campaigns to retain TIDAL subscribers. You will implement new ideas to increase engagement with our current subscriber base and lower churn. You will bring a can-do mindset to the retention team, ensuring that we are improving the subscriber experience. You will be the part of a team that helps improve customer engagement on email, push notifications, IAM, and more.  This role reports to the Director of Retention.

You Will:

  • Develop plans for lifecycle campaigns, evaluate all subscriber touchpoints and identify opportunities to improve

  • Be responsible for campaign execution including using CRM platform to create segments, build HTML, QA, deployment, and post-launch reporting

  • Setup, QA, and deploy complex workflows for campaigns; and monitor ongoing maintenance of customer lifecycle series

  • Manage ongoing optimization of program goals by designing comprehensive, measurable testing methods. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Growth, Editorial, Brand Marketing, Product, Creative, and more to execute campaigns

  • Help set goals to meet overall performance targets


  • 3- 5 years of retention and/or CRM marketing experience
  • Hands-on experience with Iterable, Braze, or Salesforce

  • Experience building CRM campaigns/workflows to improve retention

  • Passion for CRM programs and the role they serve in the customer lifecycle
