Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager that will own our sign-up and login experience. This role is critical to obtaining our growth and conversion goals at Tidal. The product manager will be responsible for our organic user sign-up and login experience, as well as numerous, unique partnership, sign up and login flows. Based in Oslo, you’ll work closely with frontend, backend, growth, partnership, and payment teams to create a smooth, intuitive experience for users all over the world.

We are looking for someone who has experience managing and improving sign-up and login flows. The candidate should be comfortable working with tight timeframes and coordinating across several teams to transform concepts into deliverables that measurably improve existing frameworks.

Responsibilities/What this role entails:

  • Define the vision, objectives, and goals for Tidal’s sign up/login experience with the Group Product Manager
  • Define product deliverables and requirements for the domain
  • Research, conceptualize and document roadmap items
  • Set objectives and measure the success of sign up experiences through A/B testing
  • Analyze key metrics daily, identify trends and execute a test to improve the target KPI. 
  • Work with frontend and backend teams to create the best implementations
  • Manage the product backlog for the domain
  • Oversee development stages by participating in regular team meetings
  • Release planning together with the tech management team
  • Communicate and present product items and releases to relevant stakeholders across the company

Qualifications

  • Relevant education and at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with agile processes and/or software development
  • Solid technical knowledge and a passion for user-centric product development
  • Keen interest in digital trends and movements within relevant product domains
  • Basic understanding of frontend and backend development processes
  • You are a strong communicator and can articulate complex solutions with ease
  • Fluency in English since this is our company language
