Job Description

The Global organisation overall goal is to launch, build and sustainably grow Cash App beyond the US. Global has multiple product work streams who are responsible for enabling new markets, launching new products in existing markets and accelerating growth where we have found traction.

The Global Expansion team’s vision is to take Cash App to the rest of the world. We are a small customer focussed team responsible for the entire experience of customers in the countries we are launching into. In the past year we have launched CashApp in Ireland while building up the UK customer base. Next year we are looking to pick up the pace of our global expansion. To do this we are looking for customer focussed engineers who are wanting to get their hands dirty across the breadth of the customer experience to bring these new countries to life.

As a member of Global Expansion, you’ll collaborate with us to:

  • Work in a small and autonomous cross functional team
  • Take ownership for figuring out how to solve and deliver on customer problems
  • Be responsible for the entire customer journey of a Cash App customer in new countries
  • Design, build, deploy and monitor the impact on customers regularly
  • Work in the context of a large scale and expanding customer base of 10's of millions of monthly active users

Qualifications

You have:

  • 5+ years of industry experience
  •  Are self motivated and curious
  • An ability to uphold a high technical bar while making pragmatic tradeoffs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science
