Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Growth ML Infrastructure

The Growth ML organization is responsible for building intelligent and scalable machine learning solutions that use optimization and personalization to increase the impact of our go-to-market efforts. Our team is primarily hired to intelligently automate and optimize communication channels, as well as to personalize creative, platforms, and products. Our goal is to provide the best seller experience across all of our go-to-market channels throughout the seller lifecycle to ultimately fuel the growth of Square and its ecosystem of products.
As a senior MLE within the Growth ML Infrastructure team, you will lead projects that help with Square’s growth. This team exists to enable Machine Learning Modelers to quickly and effectively build state of the art machine learning models through easy to use tools and next generation ML Infrastructure.
You Will: :
Lead the design and development of core infrastructure used by ML applications for our rapidly growing seller base.
Help build the next generation of data products at Square
Collaborate with the Square centralized ML Platform team to bring meaningful enhancements and efficiency to the workflows of Growth MLEs.
Collaborate with product managers, machine learning engineers, software engineers and data scientists.
Advocate for engineering best practices and up-skill the team
4+ years of ML software development experience
Understanding of the entire ML development lifecycle: project setup, data pipeline, model training/serving and monitoring
Experience in architecting scalable and low latency services
Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals
Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical people
