Job Description

Cash App’s Financial Platform team is responsible for building systems that power products built by Cash App. We build deep integrations with underlying financial infrastructures and ensure that our products are able to scale.

Disputes is a new engineering team within Financial Platform that is created to own dispute flows for card payments globally. In close collaboration with the core acquiring payments team and our business operations team, we use our deep knowledge of the disputes domain to build systems that can defend and deflect disputes effectively optimising for cost and success rate.   

You will:

  • Architect, build and maintain APIs and services that will power all card payment disputes for CashApp
  • Own features and functions throughout their lifecycle from inception, rollout, launch, scale and iterationPo
  • Influence the technical direction of the Acquiring Disputes technology stack
  • Partner closely with Business and Operations Leads and contribute to team roadmap discussions and planning
  • Lift the skills and expertise of others on the team as a technical leader
  • Participate and improve our team’s on-call rotation

Qualifications

You have:

  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • Natural curiosity and a desire to get things done
  • Taken technical initiative and led projects across multiple teams and disciplines on previous projects
  • A history of healthy collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
