Job Description

As the Project Manager for Ecosystem Onboarding, you will manage the team’s projects to help sellers identify and get started with the right Square product(s) for their business. You will work with the Product Manager, engineers, designers, and data scientists on the team, as well as with the team’s various partners within Square. This role includes managing onboarding flow launches in new countries, new product announcements, and experiments across Square’s onboarding flows. You will also establish and improve processes to help the team scale its impact globally.

Responsibilities:

  • You will help determine strategic programs that improve the team’s processes and workflows. You’ll identify potential issues and develop solutions to help the team scale.

  • You will manage multiple active and upcoming projects by defining scope, timelines, milestones and deliverables. You will track progress and communicate status to the stakeholders.

  • You will be a key player in roadmap discussions and quarterly planning, understanding the scope of work and coordinating dependencies.

  • You will manage relationships with stakeholders across Square’s product teams to ensure a smooth and successful project delivery.

  • You will be the point person for requests from stakeholders for the Square’s onboarding flows, and will set expectations, define deliverables, communicate status and manage the deliverables till launch.

 

Qualifications

  • You have at least 4 years of experience as a project manager or program manager

  • You are passionate about helping business owners discover solutions for their needs

  • You have experience working with engineers, designers and content creators to develop new user experiences

  • You can build and manage relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, including product managers and product marketing managers

  • You are proficient in the latest project management software, workflows and tools

  • You are ready to roll up your sleeves to fill gaps wherever the team needs help

  • You are familiar with how user experiences are created and managed

  • You have experience building new processes at scale

  • You have experience launching user experiences in multiple locales or countries
