Job Description
You will be part of the bitcoin mining team in Block that develops bitcoin mining ASIC, bitcoin mining rig; and associated systems, software and infrastructure. In this role you will work closely with other team members, as well as with other teams at Block and Block’s ESG Initiative to design, develop and manage a bitcoin mining test hub. This test hub will host Block’s mining hardware and will be used to test the hardware and software and the overall operational issues (power, cooling, dust, restart, performance monitoring, connectivity to pool) of the mining system.
As a senior hub lead at Block’s mining team, you are responsible for the mining test hub roadmap and the overall business impact of the product line. You will identify new challenges and new opportunities, translate those opportunities into requirements and work with the best in class design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to turn those ideas into features that solve today’s inefficiencies with the existing solutions.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
8+ years of product management experience or equivalent product strategy and customer insights experience.
Experience leading the delivery of products / features / projects which have a high degree of cross-functional complexity and integration.
A track record of shipping and iterating on successful consumer or enterprise products.
Great interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical skills. A proven ability to influence.
A passion for Block’s mission of economic empowerment and well-designed hardware products.
Real world experience in setting up low-emisison Bitcoin mining infrastructure is a huge plus.
