Hiring great talent is critical to the success of any company. Block is looking for an experienced Sr. Business Recruiter to build and execute against recruiting strategies, act as a talent advisor and thought leader to our business partners, and offer a great experience to candidates and hiring managers. Your recruiting focus would be primarily on hiring talent for our Counsel organization. The roles you would be responsible for span mid to senior level professionals for Square and Cash App and for the following teams: Legal, Counsel, Compliance, Financial Crimes, and KYC.
Own the entire lifecycle of recruiting from kicking off a new search, job description development, building a robust evaluation strategy, sourcing and closing candidates
Provide a seamless recruiting process for various hiring managers, engineering teams and/or business units
Partner with HRBPs, Finance, Talent Programs, Compensation and I&D to ensure a holistic approach to recruiting
Prioritize and delegate open headcount in partnership with your manager
Provide mentorship or indirect leadership on various recruiting best practices
Execute against a unique sourcing strategies to build diverse pools of candidates
At least 5 years of full cycle technical recruiting experience.
2+ years of experience partnering with hiring stakeholders.
Experience building strategic partnerships with hiring teams and cross functional team members
A desire and aptitude in building organizations that take into account holistic team composition and long term vision.
1 year of experience using data tools to understand trends and influence stakeholders
