TIDAL’s User Content Team is responsible for giving TIDAL users the area in the apps called My Collection, where they can store their favourite tracks, albums, videos, mixes and artists. In My Collection users can also create their own personal playlists, and organise them in folders.

The User Content Team consists of 4 backend developers, client developers (3 x iOS, 3 x Android and 2 x web), a product manager and a QA engineer. As a Web App Developer you will work on designing and implementing features with the team. 

In your role you will also work with our Core JavaScript team and will contribute to our common goals:

• Create the best possible product for TIDAL users

• Write beautiful code which is easy to understand and maintain, for others and yourself

• Participate in product definition and road map decisions

• Provide simple solutions to solve problems

• Contribute to shaping the User Content team to be the dream team you want to work in

• Care deeply about performance and accessibility

• Stay updated on frontend technology

• Partner with the Core Web and QA teams to provide stable releases of application

• 2+ years of professional web app development experience, preferably with React/Redux

• Experience using frameworks and patterns in large JavaScript applications (like React/Redux, Vue, Angular or similar)

• Experience writing tests (unit-, integration- and end-to-end tests)

• Experience with and knowledge of web standards

• Cross-browser development and debugging skills

• Experience with type systems in JavaScript (TypeScript, Flow)

• Excellent written and verbal English as English is our company language 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Bonus points:

• Knowledge about Electron, Node.js and functional programming

• Interest in HiFi audio and/or other music interests, like playing and instrument
