Afterpay is looking for iOS Engineers at our Shanghai Technology Center, to work on our consumer mobile applications. This is an exciting opportunity to build our mobile apps and make a direct, tangible impact on our product to help with Afterpay’s growth and success.

Our Ads Tech Engineering team at Afterpay is responsible for building platforms where advertisers can manage their ads, promos, offers and products which will show to the consumers in our app and web.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us to provide brands with access to the next generation of shoppers with the highest spending power through ad products that enable brand discovery, buyer engagement, and sales.

You will:

• Craft durable, well-tested code with an unwavering commitment to product quality

• Build new functionality into an app designed to provide real value to our customers

• Deliver features to tens of millions of customers, shipping at a fast and exciting cadence

• Build, test, and deploy features on our iOS mobile applications

• Measure and optimize the performance of our iOS mobile applications

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers on planning and implementing frictionless user experiences

You Have: 

• Bachelors or Masters in CS, or relevant experience 

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience

• Experience creating readable, well-crafted, and maintainable code in programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C

• A deep understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices and application design

• A commitment to continuous improvement (yourself, your teammates, your software)

• Exceptional communication skills in written and oral form (describing ideas, discussing approaches, presentations, status updates)
