Job Description

As Afterpay’s Sales Support Coordinator, you’ll support the team with a range of activities, such as following up with merchants for outstanding items, preparing a range of written documentation and helping to provide critical internal and client reporting needs. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic and proactive individual who has ambitions to progress into a Customer Relationship role in the future. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney but will work across many regions around the globe in supporting teams to deliver value to new and existing merchants.

  • Take ownership of analytical projects end to end from extracting and exploring data, generating hypotheses, building a structured analysis, and rigorously evaluating methods and results

  • Provide analytical and valuable insights for decision-making support for key projects and management

  • Review, analyse and use data to identify trends, growth opportunities and perform market intelligence studies that support the Relationship Managers

  • Measure and report to the team on sales campaigns and pipeline outcomes

  • Help the sales teams understand their numbers, with support from sales strategy and provide updates for sales leaders

  • Brief the team monthly on results, activities, process and future objectives; recommending improvements

  • Build, maintain, update and optimise critical dashboards in Tableau and Salesforce for key business stakeholders in marketing and sales

  • Ensure merchant customer experience is optimised and resolve any operational challenges in partnership with relevant internal stakeholders

  • Document process maps for administrative requests in order to deliver continuous process improvement

  • Support the end to end process for merchant contract administration, ensuring that all key areas have been addressed and all stages are managed and recorded through Salesforce 

  • Support the collection of competitor activity & intelligence for internal reporting

  • You will have a passion for managing multiple concurrent projects and executing on tight deadlines

  • You can support and run a team to ensure all projects and deadlines are met

  • You're an internal networker who can build stakeholder relationships and influence at all levels

  • Solid analytics and reporting experience with an ability to look for and report on insights that data provides

  • You're a self-starter who can spot opportunities for improvement in the way things are done and use their own initiative to create and deliver positive change in the business

  • You ideally have some experience supporting Sales or Marketing teams as well as customers

  • Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be put to good use

  • Your ability to act with a sense of urgency with high-priority needs will be tested

  • You have a dynamic approach and adapt to changing requirements with the ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently
