Job Description

As a Retail Solutions Technical Account Manager, you'll be an important member of the Global Merchant Services Team, responsible for providing our merchants with a world-class retail integration experience.

You will:

  • Become an expert on Clearpay's retail solutions and how to best use them to match merchants' needs.
  • Lead the technical relationships including troubleshooting and optimization for our in-store retail partners.
  • Resolve important technical issues for your accounts
  • Manage relationships with external technical audiences — from engineer to CTO — and translate requirements into solutions.
  • Foster long-term merchant relationships that grow loyalty to Clearpay and our products
  • Educate merchants and partners to implement integration strategies, techniques, and user experience best practices.
  • Be the main contact for the merchant partner for all implementation-related activities throughout the engagement.
  • Address obstacles to delivery completion – internally and externally.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholder groups to manage delivery expectations.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Experience working with retail Point of Sales systems, Card Payments, and/or with an activations role.
  • Supported customer journeys online and in the retail world (omni-channel commerce)
  • Previously solved business problems with a technology and creative solution based approach.
  • Partner management experience - communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to respond to and manage enquiries from multiple merchant partners.
