At Cash App, we are building an Operating System to power an infinitely scalable superapp. The Operating System team is responsible for curating core experiences that connect our products intuitively for our customers; building the shared services and technical architecture that are performant and promote development velocity; and experimentation that enables us to constantly iterate on remarkable experiences for our customers.
The Activity team is responsible for helping customers easily and quickly understand what has happened with their money, account and network. The team owns both the customer experience and the underlying architecture that enables all teams across Cash App to quickly add their activity items to the feed.
In this role you will:
Define the strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for your team, balancing business goals, customer needs and investments in engineering velocity.
Deeply understand the needs of both internal and external customers and act as their voice through planning, design and execution
Define the framework and metrics to measure the impact of the team’s services; deeply understand the core drivers and monitor progress.
Manage the roadmap to deliver on this strategy, balancing short term goals with long term vision.
5+ years of product management or equivalent experience
Successfully led a complex product or business area with a lot of partners/stakeholders
Experience driving cross-functional product initiatives in a successful way
A hunger to tackle complicated and impactful product & business problems
Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities
Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses, and solve problems without well-defined direction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
