Senior Product Lead, Mining Hardware

We believe that the status quo of bitcoin mining does not serve the mission of the bitcoin ecosystem. So we’re building a bitcoin mining rig powered by a Block designed ASIC. With our mining rig, we can address many mining issues such as the concentration of hardware supply in certain countries and incompatibility with clean energy sources.
As a senior product lead on Block’s mining team, you are responsible:
- Product definition of our first mining rig
- Roadmap for our future mining rigs product lines
- The overall business impact of that product line
- The customer satisfaction of that product line
- You will identify new product opportunities, translate those opportunities into product requirements/priorities
- While working with a best-in-class design, engineering, and manufacturing team to turn those ideas into products and new features.
- You will be responsible for continuously identifying and executing on ways to improve your product through a deep understanding of our customers, competitors, and the changing landscape we operate in.
- Finally, you will partner with product marketing to help ensure your product is getting to the right customers.

8 years of product management experience or equivalent product strategy and customer insights experience.
Experience leading the delivery of products / features / projects which have a high degree of cross-functional complexity and integration.
A track record of shipping and iterating on successful consumer or enterprise products.
Great interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical skills.
A proven ability to influence.
A passion for Block’s mission of economic empowerment and well designed hardware products.
Knowledge of hardware products is a must have while blockchain technology and bitcoin mining is a nice to have

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $202,500 - USD $247,500
Zone B: USD $192,400 - USD $235,200
Zone C: USD $182,300 - USD $222,800
Zone D: USD $172,200 - USD $210,400

This role is also eligible to participate in Block's equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies, and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
