Job Description

The Learning Consultant team scopes and project manages internal learning and development solutions across the business. As a Learning Consultant Lead, you will lead a team of learning consultants as they meet with high-level stakeholders throughout the Cash Customer Operations organization. You and your team will take a data-driven approach to identifying our internal clients biggest pain points around knowledge gaps. You will also partner directly with instructional design, learning facilitation, coaching, workforce management, and Knowledge and Readiness to address those learning gaps. This role reports to the Learning Operations Lead, and sits within Cash Customer Operations

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage your team’s workload and priorities, empowering them to effectively quantify and uncover solutions to internal knowledge gaps.

  • Use data to understand business knowledge and proficiency gaps and to measure the impact of your team’s work. 

  • Mentor and develop the individuals on your team, including their skills and performance in-role as well as their career progression.

  • Take point on setting and achieving team and individual goals in alignment with LPO objectives. 

  • Invest in partnership with leaders in Customer Operations, Risk Operations, Specialty Operations, Programs and other teams across the business to address the root causes of advocate knowledge gaps. 

  • Be an expert resource on the process of shipping large scale, international learning solutions, leveraging project management skills, and stakeholder management, to maintain high quality and provide support for your team with the most complex projects. 

  • Collaborate with the Learning Operations Lead and your peers to scale and sustain the L & D organization to meet the needs of Cash App and Cash Customer Operations.  

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a leadership role as part of a support operations team, preferably including partnership with customer operations teams. 

  • 4+ years professional experience and demonstrable expertise with all of the following:

    • Learning Management Systems (reporting/ content formats)

    • Project management software (such as Jira/ Asana)

    • Communication tools in a distributed environment (we use Slack, Google Docs)

    • Instructional Design tools (such as Articulate Rise/ Storyline / Synthesia)

    • Analytics & Reporting Tools (such as Tableau/ Looker)

  • Strong understanding of consulting practices in a corporate learning and development environment, ideally combining vendor and in-house experience.

  • Strong cross-functional communication and prioritization skills. 

  • Proven ability to hire and develop talent.

  • Experience in project management and consulting preferred. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Instructional Technology, Learning Measurement & Analytics or related field.

  • Experience reviewing a wide variety of learning solutions across industries for quality and effectiveness.

  • Experience applying experiential learning theory to learning solutions design.
