Job Description

We are seeking an experienced workplace professional to support our NYC office. In this role, you will create programs, host events and manage operations that allow our teams to do their best work. You have a keen ability to design solutions to new problems. You take pride in making spaces both beautiful and functional, and know how important even the smallest details are to making our offices remarkable. Your customer service skills are top-notch as we ensure our customers (fellow employees) have everything they need to be successful. You are passionate about music and excited to amplify our culture within our space.

You Will:

  • Build and develop office programs and operations that support the needs of the local team.
  • Ensure an amazing office experience is had by all visitors to our spaces, including candidates and guests.
  • Manage local team activities that build a sense of connection to each other and our products.
  • Host impactful events, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with peers and contribute to projects that build and evolve the culture within our spaces.
  • Support facilities projects and tasks, with urgency and proactive follow-up.
  • Source and manage workplace vendors and service providers.
  • Manage and reconcile office budgets.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 5+ years of building dynamic teams.
  • Event coordination/management experience.
  • Prior experience with operating budgets and reconciling financials.
  • Capable of accepting and delivering feedback strategically to deliver improved results.

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $94,400 - USD $115,400
Zone B: USD $87,800 - USD $107,400
Zone C: USD $80,300 - USD $98,100
Zone D: USD $70,800 - USD $86,600

This role is also eligible to participate in Block's equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies, and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a commission plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
