Job Description

As one of Afterpay’s Customer Service Team Members, you’ll be responsible for delivering great service to all of our merchants. You will be part of a growing team who work on outcomes for merchant queries. We are looking for someone with great communication and written skills that is looking to join a dynamic team!

You Will:

  • Develop strong and courteous relationships with our merchants 
  • Handle inbound phone calls and occasional digital queries
  • Help merchants manage their Afterpay accounts
  • Update account information with accuracy and speed
  • Meet regulatory requirements
  • Ensure consistency and superior levels of customer service by following standard operating procedures
  • Meet monthly service recruitment KPI’s and targets

Qualifications

You Have:

  • Experience working in a customer support role or a background in hospitality, retail or a customer-facing role
  • You are able to effectively and quickly form relationships and establish trust, respect, competence and confidence with our merchants
  • You are able to multitask and are enthusiastic about change
  • You are a people person and get a kick out of helping merchants
  • You have good judgement, problem-solving skills and analytical ability
  • You like to keep it real with your actions, be brave with your decisions, do the right thing for all our stakeholders and shape the future with excitement
