Job Description

As Cash App has grown to 50M+ monthly active users, our Growth Marketing Team is working to innovate on how we continue to accelerate the company’s rapid expansion. We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Operations Specialist with high attention to detail who is passionate about learning the growth marketing process from campaign planning and creative development, to trafficking and performance analysis. You will partner with paid social and programmatic channel managers, as well as our creative team, to ideate, manage, and implement a creative testing backlog that optimizes performance and delivers insights. 

You will:

  • Collaborate with the paid channel and creative teams to plan, manage, and execute a creative testing backlog across 10+ paid acquisition channels 
  • Launch ad campaigns across paid social and programmatic channels, inclusive of creative set up, trafficking, testing and troubleshooting
  • Monitor and analyze creative performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reports to stakeholders
  • Identify new and emerging trends and insights across all platforms to help optimize creative strategy and uncover opportunities to acquire customers
  • Maintain and share detailed documentation on the creative experimentation plan from hypothesis and test setup, to asset plan and performance


You have: 

  • 1-2 years of work experience in growth marketing, media planning, or digital advertising role
  • Familiarity with mobile advertising and marketing channels (i.e. display / search / social advertising, DSPs, etc )
  • A strategic approach to execution, including an ability to identify process improvements
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $45.38 - USD $55.48
Zone B: USD $42.21 - USD $51.63
Zone C: USD $38.61 - USD $47.16
Zone D: USD $34.04 - USD $41.63

This role is also eligible to participate in Block's equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies, and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
