Job Description

As Afterpay’s Demand & Supply Workforce Planner, you will be reporting directly to the Workforce Planning Manager, as part of the Global Workforce Management Team.

You’ll be Providing ongoing support through expert knowledge and experience of workforce planning to a developing team of workforce planners and real time analyst’s  to become a best in class workforce management solution for a global financial service brand. 

This role will be integral in ensuring the ongoing success of our people’s ability to deliver to the needs of our customers.  

This role is responsible for:

  • Vendor Management
  • Forecasting and Planning
  • Relationship Management
  • Budget Tracking
  • Risk Analysis
  • Resource Coordination
  • Report Development
  • Invoice Reconciliation

A brief summary of responsibilities include:

  • Management of 3 month, and 12 month demand and capacity planning internally and with vendors globally.
  • Providing modeling recommendations based on scenario planning  to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Planning staffing solutions according to customer demand data, budgets and operational needs.
  • Rolling monthly resource and capacity planning for negotiation with vendor.
  • Stakeholder management including operational management team, vendors, and internal technology and finance teams.
  • Monthly invoice reconciliation and tracking against agreed headcounts.

  • The global nature of our team may require this role to work flexibly from time to time in order to connect to colleagues who operate in North America, and the UK.
  • Build awesome relationships, so that you have a platform of trust when it comes to advising and consulting with key stakeholders including both Executive and Operational.
  • Use your advanced data and analytical skills, so that you can quickly create stories out of the numbers to provide strategic frameworks and plans when it comes to forecasting and gap analysis.
  • Understand people attrition, and business growth across multiple global operations centres and use your expertise to drive best in class onboarding and offboarding frameworks.
  • Drive and deliver Short to long term staffing plans within the contact centre.

Qualifications

  • Someone with 3+ years working in a high performing, fast-paced workforce or resource operations.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • You will have a passion for developing and leading the implementation of innovative and sound strategic workforce plans and rosters within a large complex organisation.
  • Your head will be abuzz with things we should be doing – workforce planning methodology, expertise in WFP scheduling software and a working knowledge of outbound modelling.
  • You will feel right at home in a fast paced and agile environment, where you implement and deliver a plan to a high standard.
  • You follow through, you show up, and make it happen, fast.
