The Block Treasury team is hiring a Treasury Manager to help develop our international Treasury Operations team in the APAC region. You will have the opportunity to build multiple Treasury functions across Block’s ecosystem of products including Cash App, Square, and Afterpay. You will be an essential contributor to optimizing Block's global liquidity and bank account structure. You will report to the Treasury Operations Lead in the US.

  Responsibilities

You Will:

• Manage daily cash positioning, forecasting, and reporting activities for all products in the APAC region and partner with the Treasury team globally to create a true 24/7 liquidity function

• Manage the settlement operations for Afterpay in the AU and NZ regions

• Support product teams to launch new products and features

• Manage SOX compliance and audit requests for the APAC region

• Develop efficient bank account structures and manage opening/closing of accounts and updating signatories

• Partner with Accounting on financial operations and reporting 

• Partner with the Finance and Strategy team to develop analyses and long-term forecasts

• Manage relationships with bank partners both in the APAC region and across warehouse lenders

• Support daily trading activities for Bitcoin activities

You Have:

• 5+ years experience in Corporate Treasury or Banking

• Experience with financial and operational controls

• Experience with core cash management, familiarity with Treasury Management Systems is a plus

• Team player who is able to work independently across multiple geographies

• Candidate must enjoy getting "hands dirty", have a strong work ethic, and excel in a fast-paced environment

• Passion for Block. Strong interest in FinTech and knowledge of the industry

• Strong math and quantitative analysis skills

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
