Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Project Specialist to lead the change management process for hardware products and build tools for the operations team. You will be responsible for managing the PLM system for all post ramp products; this includes leading the change management process through ECOs and deviations. You will also help the team identify improvement opportunities and build tools to drive efficiency/accuracy for material management and tracking activities at the factories for both NPI and sustaining.

Qualifications

You will:

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations to manage product BOMs and the engineering change process “processing ECOs & pulling part numbers”
  • Own the process / maintenance of the PLM system; including owning the relationship with the provider
  • Build strong relationships with our contract manufacturers to roll out changes and ensure accuracy/alignment with Square 
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to identify improvements to our business processes to drive best practices. The scope of this will range from build management to quality tracking
  • Build and maintain Square’s clear to build (CTB) reports for material tracking for mass production
  • Assist with engineering build readiness and monitoring production on an as-needed basis

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 3 years experience in a supply chain or similar operations role. 
  • Experience with BOM (Bill of Materials) management for consumer electronics products using a PLM system
  • Great attention to detail with strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical and Excel skills
