Job Description

Our partnerships with exceptional restaurants are a core differentiator for Caviar. With each restaurant partner, there are opportunities for enhancement in both sales performance and operations after we launch. We’re looking for a talented food-tech enthusiast to join our high-performing NYC team in this account management and business strategy role. As a Restaurant Account Manager, you will:

  • Identify and seek opportunities to work together with our restaurant partners to improve their operations, grow sales, and to ensure they have a great experience working with Caviar.
  • Work closely with the New York local team to support and further expand the partnerships with our existing restaurants.
  • Project manage optimization initiatives in collaboration with sales, marketing, analytics, operations, customer support, dispatch, and engineering on both a local and national level.
  • Have an impact in many areas of the business and be a cross-functional contributor and leader.
  • Increase the operational efficiency and business impact of Caviar’s delivery service for our existing restaurants.

Qualifications

You have:

  • A passion for Caviar, food, and working closely with the best restaurants in New York City.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, account management, partner management, support, or operations.
  • A BA/BS degree.
  • Fantastic organization. You understand the value of planning ahead, using tools to keep big projects on track, and communicating clearly.
  • An assertive, resilient, positive and persuasive personality. Leave it to you and you’ll get the job done. You understand that a fast-moving startup is full of challenges, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
  • An incredible focus on details: typos, features, facts. Nothing escapes your eye and you pride yourself on your ability to spot errors before they cause issues.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and follow through while paying strict attention to detail. You want your team and the amazing restaurants we’re working with to rely on you. With clear expectations, you take on projects and run with them to completion.
  • Coachability, a love of mastering your craft, and solving problems for others. You know that learning something new will only make you more efficient and impressive in your role.
  • An understanding and appreciation of big, audacious goals and figuring out how to meet them. You know that great companies are built from the ground up, one step at a time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong familiarity with professional software and relationship management tools, e.g. Google Docs, Salesforce, etc.
  • Good listening skills.
  • An infectiously positive attitude.
  • Restaurant industry or hospitality experience preferred.
