Job Description

The Fleet Growth Associate will be responsible for onboarding couriers for Bay Area Markets. This individual will use order volume and other internal metrics to predict how many couriers we need to onboard each week to keep up with our growth, but maximize courier pay. In addition, this person will track conversion rates for couriers progressing through the funnel and make measureable improvements to the onboarding process. You’re the advocate for Caviar’s couriers, and they should feel that when they leave you’re onboarding session.

Qualifications

You will:

  • Work closely with Bay Area General Manager to predict demand and plan accordingly.
  • Run onboarding sessions to maintain a courier fleet that is large enough to fulfill all incoming orders. The occasional weekend onboarding session might be necessary depending on demand.
  • Consistently maintain and track pipeline activity metrics to share with the broader team.
  • Recommend creative and results-oriented ideas to impact the pipeline.
  • Facilitate, document, and improve the onboarding process.
  • Work cross functionally with engineering, product, and national teams to create the best experience for our couriers.
  • Analyze current retention rates, courier turnout from previous weeks, and other trends and strategize ways to improve retention and productivity.

You have:

  • 0-3 years of work experience, preferably with some start-up experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other related area (preferred).
  • Experience with improving processes and optimizing for experience.
  • Ability to sell Caviar’s vision and opportunity to couriers.
  • Great customer service and communication skills.
  • A record of setting big goals and doing what it takes to exceed expectations.
  • A mind geared towards data-driven decision-making and a focus on process and efficiency.
