Job Description

Caviar’s Operations team is looking for a Business Associate with a sharp analytical mind, excellent business acumen, and strong communication skills. This role is a hybrid of traditional jobs in analytics, strategy, operations, and product. You will drive key analyses and projects spanning all aspects of Caviar’s operations, including customer, courier, and restaurant operations. You will see the direct impact of your work in product changes and key performance metrics for the company.

The successful candidate will possess a passion for innovative analysis, strategy and execution, and the wherewithal to develop findings and recommendations that transcend the numbers. Ideally, this person has worked at a top-­tier management consultancy / investment bank or in an operations / product analytics role, and will feel comfortable interacting with executives on a regular basis.

Qualifications

You Will:

  • Drive business analysis and recommendations to inform key operational decisions
  • Present your findings to executive stakeholders
  • Create and productize analytics dashboards required to drive improvements in our business
  • Form strong collaborative relationships with all teams across Caviar
  • Be a mentor and help other team members hone analytical skills

You Have:

  • BA/BS in a quantitative field (math, CS, engineering, economics, finance, statistics)
  • 4+ years of work experience, including 2+ years quantitative experience
  • Fluency in SQL and Excel required. Experience with Tableau preferred
  • Comfort working with large datasets and solving ambiguous problems
  • Demonstrated cross-functional relationship management skills
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels
  • Project management experience is a plus
