Job Description

At Square, our mission is to make commerce easy. Our Seller Growth Operations Team builds the strategy, infrastructure, processes, and tools to help us scale rapidly to reach ambitious targets. We are smart, scrappy, fun, and committed to making our Seller Growth team successful.

As a Seller Growth Operational Analyst, you will work cross-functionally to increase the productivity and impact of the Seller Growth team through a combination of analyses, process improvement and tools configuration and development. A large focus of this role will be streamlining process and driving insights via our Salesforce instance so strong working knowledge and passion for configuring and using Salesforce is required.

You will:

  • Own the Seller Growth team metrics, reporting, and dashboards we use to run the business

  • Support ongoing configuration and administration of our Salesforce platform used by our Account Management team

  • Partner with various business and technical partners to design, develop and test Salesforce tool enhancements

  • Work with internal business and technical partners across the company to design creative tools and solutions to improve operations of the Seller Growth team

  • Develop & deliver performance analysis and program recommendations for senior executives

  • Create and productize analytics required to drive improvements in our business

  • Support ongoing analysis of business performance required to inform executive decisions on a daily basis


Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor degree required, with major in analytical or technical field strongly preferred

  • 2+ years of analytical experience, ideally in sales operations, revenue operations, business operations, or consulting

  • 1-2 years experience in Salesforce administration, configuration, test, and development. Experience with Apex triggers, Soql queries, Visualforce and/or Service Cloud a strong plus

  • Tools development experience with Python, Ruby, etc. a strong plus

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, complex analyses, and models

  • Quantitative analysis and logical reasoning; experience using database (SQL) and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) for analysis

  • Creative problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude to overcome any obstacle and get things done

  • Works collaboratively across functions including product, marketing, analytics, engineering, etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to influence others effectively

  • Ability to succeed in a collaborative, start-up environment

  • Previous roles in a high growth, tech environment desired
